Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to www.fatcowtallow.com, and Fat Cow Tallow, LLC and governs data collection and usage. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Fat Cow Tallow, LLC include www.fatcowtallow.com and Fat Cow Tallow. The Fat Cow Tallow website is a ecommerce, health and beauty site. By using the Fat Cow Tallow website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

Collection of your Personal Information

In order to better provide you with products and services offered, Fat Cow Tallow may collect personally identifiable information, such as your:

  • First and Last Name
  • Mailing Address
  • E-mail Address

If you purchase Fat Cow Tallow's products and services, we collect billing and credit card information. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction.

We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services. Fat Cow Tallow collects and uses your personal information to operate and deliver the services you have requested.

Fat Cow Tallow may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from Fat Cow Tallow and its affiliates.

Fat Cow Tallow does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.

Fat Cow Tallow may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. Automatically Collected Information

Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by Fat Cow Tallow. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Fat Cow Tallow website.

Aggregate website traffic

We count public page views on our own server, including when optional analytics cookies are declined. We store only totals by date and page, without visitor identifiers, IP addresses, browsing profiles, or payment information in this counter. Repeat page views are counted separately. The private orders page is excluded. This counter does not use cookies or send traffic data to Google.

Use of Cookies

With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand visitor counts, referring websites, pages viewed, time engaged, product views, cart additions, checkout starts, and completed purchases. Analytics cookies help distinguish visits. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, shipping addresses, payment details, or checkout session identifiers to Google Analytics. Our private owner dashboard is excluded. On the payment confirmation page, customers who already allowed analytics may have a completed-purchase event recorded after Stripe confirms payment. This includes product names, quantities, purchase value, and a one-way order reference; it does not include the checkout session identifier or customer contact details.

Optional analytics starts only after you choose “Allow analytics.” Choose “No thanks” to shop without analytics, or use “Cookie choices” in the footer to change your choice. Your preference is saved in your browser for up to one year. Cart storage is used separately to remember the products you add.

The Fat Cow Tallow website may use "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize Fat Cow Tallow pages, or register with Fat Cow Tallow site or services, a cookie helps Fat Cow Tallow to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. Right to Deletion

Children Under Thirteen

Fat Cow Tallow does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website.

E-mail Communications

From time to time, Fat Cow Tallow may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication.

If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications via email from Fat Cow Tallow, you may opt out of such communications by Clicking the "Unsubscribe" button at the bottom of every email.

External Data Storage Sites

We may store your data on servers provided by third party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted.

Changes to this Statement

Fat Cow Tallow reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account, by placing a prominent notice on our website, and/or by updating any privacy information. Your continued use of the website and/or Services available after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by that Policy.

Contact forms and submitted reviews

When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message. When you submit a review, we also receive the product used, your review, any timeframe you provide, optional before-and-after photographs, and your publication permission.

We use this information to respond to you, review your submission, and publish approved customer experiences where you have given permission. Submitting a review does not automatically publish it. Your email address is not displayed with published reviews; we use your first name.

Only submit photographs you own or have permission to share. If a child is pictured, permission from their parent or guardian is required. Please do not submit sensitive medical details or information about someone else without their permission.

Form processing and uploaded photos

Our forms use FormSubmit to process submissions and forward them, including any attached photos, to contact@fatcowtallow.com. Your submission is therefore handled by FormSubmit and the email services involved in delivery and storage.

FormSubmit states that it retains submission records for 30 days, while uploaded files are not retained in its submission archive. Copies delivered to our inbox are separate from that archive. See FormSubmit’s privacy terms.

Your review and photo choices

Uploading photos is optional. If you give publication permission, we may display your review, first name, and submitted photos on our website after review.

You can request correction or removal of your published review or photos, or withdraw permission for future publication, by emailing contact@fatcowtallow.com. Please identify the submission so we can locate it. Removal from our website cannot remove copies others may already have saved or cached.

Retention and privacy requests

We retain information as needed to respond to inquiries, manage orders, review customer submissions, maintain approved published content, and meet legal or business recordkeeping obligations. You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information you have provided. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and some records may need to be retained as described under Right to Deletion.
